Current Research

I’m a research scientist and lab manager for LA-MC-ICP-MS and LASS-ICP-MS at HELGES. My two main research areas are

  • Isotope fractionation during uptake, relocation and deposition of stable metalls and metalloids in plants to understand and constrain biological weathering in the Critical Zone.
  • Development of analytical in situ routines for simultaneous concentration and isotope ratio determination for biosciences, geosciences and forensic applications, including the development and demonstration of non-matrix matched quantification strategies for isotope ratio and concentration measurements.

My research was supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (P2EZP2_168836) and Marie Curie Actions (IsoNose.eu, REA grant agreement n° [608069]).
